What is Extra Credit in Escape Academy 2?

Extra Credit is the sequel’s campus side-quest layer. In Devlog #14 on Steam, Coin Crew Games contrasts Extra Credit with the critical path and calls Extra Credit semi-optional: you do not have to finish every quest to clear the story, but some beats still expect you to engage with that content.

The playable demo says you can earn Extra Credit from puzzle-stuffed side quests and track quest progress in the journal.

Xbox Wire’s launch tips add that optional student jobs pay Escape Bucks you spend at several story checks, and that cash also hides around campus.

How do you track Extra Credit?

The demo text tells you to prioritize classwork as you see fit using the new quest system. Coin Crew’s devlog frames Extra Credit as the parallel track to critical-path story quests.

Aprasi’s guide and TheGamer’s achievement write-up both describe 24 Extra Credit quests in the full game (see the Escape-a-holic achievement there). We do not treat a single walkthrough index as proof for every title on that list.
